A first outing!
The BrightHouse cycling club started today!
John, David and Dan set out on a 15.5 mile circuit around the Hertfordshire countryside at lunchtime. It was a bit blustery, but the rain held off and we had a good ride. Some good hills, a mixture of country lanes and more busy flat, fast stretches.
David struggled a little with cramp after a 4.5 month lay-off from cycling, Dan was like a caged lion, and John was teaching the others various hand signals (mostly polite ones).
Hopefully this will become a regular thing, maybe with some longer evening rides eventually.

Did someone mention doing London-Paris in June next year - maybe I was imagining things...
